For the last few years, my hobby is astronomy. During that time I had to figure out many details in the area of
optics, photography, equipment and to some degree physics. What is a difference between MAK and SCT,
what kind of eyepiece should I buy, what camera is the best for me and still in the budget and how to connect all these pieces, etc.
So far I haven't found a place where all this information is together in the form and detail I expect.
It is possible to find pieces of information on various webpages and forums, then connect them together - but it is quite a task (which I did), especially if you're like me who wants not only to know what, but also how and why.
I decided to start taking notes, as memory evaporates quickly - then it was only one step to share it and
possibly make it usable for others.
However please remember I'm not an expert in any of these areas - I'm amateur. Even if I do my best to
make it correct, there will be errors, simplifications, and mistakes. So use it on your own risk
(and let me know if you spot anything not correct).
